Health insurance mandates play a significant role in the cost of health care in Wisconsin and across the country.  But how many do we really have?  The following link will take you to a report of health insurance mandates by state for 2010 published by the Council for Affordable Health Insurance.  The state with the least number of mandates is Idaho with only 13 while Rhode Island takes the grand prize with 69.  Where does Wisconsin fall?  We are squarely in the middle with 35 separate mandates.  To view the full report, click on Health Insurance Mandates in the States 2010.
